CIMC Xinhui Presents Self-Developed Products in Shanghai

2023-07-28

On July 19, the 2023 Intermodal Asia, themed "Connectivity and Shared Prosperity," grandly opened at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. The exhibition will last for three days. As a leading enterprise in the container industry, CIMC Group has been invited to participate for several consecutive years.

As an important innovation incubator and industrial base deployed by the CIMC Group’s container segment in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, CIMC Xinhui showcased its independently developed automatic hinge flatracks and powder coating containers in the Container Park, attracting numerous industry colleagues for visits and exchanges.

01 Automatic Hinge Flatrack

Adhering to the company philosophy of creating new value for customers and leveraging over twenty years of experience in flatrack product development and manufacturing, CIMC Xinhui has developed brand-new patented automatic hinge technology. This technology enables the automatic locking function of the hinge after the end wall of the flatrack is raised, further simplifying the product structure, with enhanced safety, easier operation, and lower maintenance costs.

Like conventional pin-type hinge flatracks, the automatic hinge flatrack also features two end walls that can be folded during the return transport of empty containers. The folded flatracks can be stacked and linked together; every seven 20' flatracks can form an 8'6" high standard module, and every four 40' flatracks can form a 9'6" high standard module. These can be lifted as a whole, saving both return transport costs and storage space.

As a champion product of CIMC Group, flatracks lead the industry in product development and manufacturing technology, with product performance and quality widely acclaimed by industry customers.

02 Powder Coating Container

In 2022, CIMC Xinhui built the world's first fully automated powder coating production test line for whole containers.  This technology will completely resolve the high pollution issues in the container coating process, marking another major breakthrough in "green manufacturing" for containers.

As a milestone product in CIMC Group's research and development of green coating, the powder coating container fundamentally achieves "clean production" with zero waste gas, wastewater, and waste residues. It offers better quality, lower costs, full compliance with HSE standards, and contributes to the container industry's green development solutions in support of the "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" targets.
